Hot here, yesterday! High of 96, humid, thunderstorms as the evening set in.

Most mornings, Anna and I walk a loop to start our day, going in oppossite directions, enjoying it when we pass. But yesterday my morning exercise was to, early, mow the lawn.

For years now I have used a push mower - great exercise, makes a lovely sound - good for the neighbors at 6 AM.

Not sure how many gallons of gas I've saved, nor how many of those single or double stroke gas engine fumes I've saved - but from time to time I stop and take satisfaction from both.

We have for a long time tried to take advantage of our membership in the "gym of life" - the push mower is a great fit
