There is widespread misconception about how dangerous a place our modern society is in. This message is coming from a high level all over the world. The #Coronavirus has made billions of people face some of the real dangers head on, and it is amazing how we can act collectively when we are given the information ❤ We must act in solidarity and follow the best available science. Climate catastrophes are all too real for a lot of people, largely in the global south where people create only a fraction of the greenhouse gases that we do in the west. We need the changes being made right now at a high level to work for #ClimateAction, for #JustTransition and for #ClimateJustice or it will be more disasters with governments reacting to those disasters instead of acting now to keep people safe. To be clear #Lockdown is NOT a just transition. Lockdown is a disaster response.
