Digital Earth Day Climate Strike (Worcester, MA)

The 50th anniversary of Earth Day is quickly approaching, and you have the opportunity to be a part of one of the largest civic actions for environmental activism in our history; a global, youth led Climate Strike where we will unify in our demand for change. Due to the Covid-19 Virus, we have switched our planning efforts to a digital strike. We will be hosting not one, but THREE days of online action.

APRIL 22ND: Our first day of strikes will be focused on the art of storytelling. We are inviting anyone who has a stake in the climate crisis to share their stories. If you breathe air, drink water, have loved ones- that means you're invited to participate. We will also be hearing from keynotes speakers about their stories and how we can act together.

APRIL 23RD: The second day of strikes will be focused on divestment. We will be learning together about organizing, and demanding change from both our Universities and financial institutions.

APRIL 24TH: The third and final day will be focused on political action. We will be hosting multiple teach ins about how to be civically engaged in Massachusetts. On this day we will come together and act, contacting government officials to enact the legislation we need for a greener, brighter future.
