Offshore Drilling Panel Discussion

Virginia League of Conservation Voters and Virginia Coastal Alliance will be holding a live panel discussion on offshore drilling in Virginia with local advocates and elected officials on August 10th. We’ll be hosting Congresswoman Elaine Luria (District 2), Delegate Nancy Guy (District 83), and Lynnhaven River Now's Karen Forget and Jim Deppe to hear about the detrimental effects offshore drilling would have on our environment and economy, how offshore drilling would affect military operations off our coast, and what is going on with offshore drilling both at a federal level and in Virginia. The audience will also have the opportunity to address questions to the panelists.
