Duke is holding their annual shareholder meeting at 1230 pm on May 7. The meeting is online, and because of the pandemic so is our protest! Join us to speak out before the shareholders' meeting by posting on social media, calling executives and taking online action! We'll hear reports and briefings from experts and shareholder advocates and give you all the info and talking points you need.

For decades North Carolinians have been held captive by an energy monopoly.

Duke Energy, the primary electricity provider for millions of North Carolinians, is making the climate crisis worse, continues to pursue fossil fuel projects like natural gas pipelines, has criminally mismanaged harmful coal ash waste at its power plants, and is allowed to continually increase rates by elected officials who receive campaign contributions from utilities like Duke.

It’s time for Energy Justice. It’s time to end the Duke monopoly.
