Amazon Worker's #MayDay Protest/Walk Out/Strike #GeneralStrike

All transit workers who are able to attend should join Amazon worker walkout leader Chris Smalls and other Amazon workers this Friday, May 1 at their protest outside of the Amazon warehouse where Chris Smalls was fired for informing his coworkers about their potential COVID-19 exposure. This warehouse is located at 546 Gulf Avenue in Staten Island, NY 10303. we will be meeting at the bus stop across from the warehouse.

This protest/walk out/strike is scheduled to begin at 11:30am during the lunch hour of most employees who work at this factory. There will be worldwide media coverage of this protest which is being supported by the Rev. Jesse Jackson and his Rainbow/PUSH Coalition. It would be great to see many transit workers and other workers out in Solidarity with this very important struggle.
