Organizing 102: Identifying Issues & Escalation

Thank you to everyone who came out to July's Organizing 101: How to Build Power on the job! We went over the basics of organizing your workplace and we got a lot of feedback asking how to actually put these skills into practice.

Well your in luck because we're holding an organizing 102 on Tuesday August 25th from 7-9 pm!

This month's training will dig deeper into identifying issues on the job and how to develop an escalation plan with your co-workers to fight back against the boss. Whether you are forming a union or coming together with your co-workers to address immediate workplace issues, you need to identify issues your co-workers will organize around and develop an escalation plan that puts pressure on the boss to meet your demands.

In this training we will break out into small groups and work together to identify core issues at a particular workplace, develop an escalation plan, and report back on your groups plan.

We are making this training hands on and applicable to the places you work and we are super excited for you to join us!
