MONDAY AUG 3rd. NATIONAL DAY OF RESISTANCE ACTIONS IN PHILLY:

Please join Philly Car Protest for School Safety, Health and Equity at 8:00 am at the School District of Philadelphia (440 N. Broad St.) to demand measures necessary for remote learning and eventual face-to-face instruction. These measures include: equitable access to online learning, translation and interpretation, smaller class sizes, adequate ventilation and PPE, cleaning, COVID testing, lead/asbestos/mold abatement, and increased staffing.

Join Comcast, Give Our Students Internet! at 3pm to demand that Comcast support Philly’s students by making virtual learning possible for ALL of them. Comcast has called Philadelphia its home for years and it is time that they support the city they have taken millions of dollars from in tax incentives and abatements; this means ensuring that every student has online access while Philadelphia schools go forward with remote learning for the 2020-2021 school year.
