Portland Forward Invites you to a discussion on police reform and accountability, on June 30th, at 6 pm.

Our panel speakers include Multnomah District Attorney Elect Mike Schmidt, State Representative Janelle Bynum, and Bobbin Signh, Executive Director of Oregon Justice Resource Center.

Portland's own Candace Avalos will be our event moderator.

Our panel will discuss legislative efforts being undertaken to address systemic problems within our police force, the legal hurdles for police reform in our communities, and the different proposals on what police reform will look like and how reforms might be implemented in Portland.

Join us for this important and timely discussion on how we can address systemic problems within our city.

Bring your questions and invite your friends to join us. You can sign up for this event through our Eventbrite link on this page.

To make this even accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing communities we will be providing American Sign Language interpreting from Fingers Crossed Interpreting.
