Vigil: Defund Police, Fund Housing for All, Save Lives.

During his tenure Mayor Kenney has increased the police budget by $120 million dollars. This year he has slashed the budgets for homelessness prevention, eviction protection, ending displacement, and creating truly affordable, accessible housing. During pandemics of COVID, HIV, and state violence, this is a deadly decision.

Join us in demanding that Mayor Kenney take back the $120 million given to policing and reinvest in housing that is accessible to all. We will mourn the lives already lost and fight for everyone to have a safe, healthy home.
