Take Back the Night

  • 3053

Although we cannot join together on campus, please join us all week, April 6-10, on Georgia Tech's Women's Resource Center and Georgia Tech Health Initiatives as well as @gtwrc and @GTHealthInitiatives on Instagram. Each day, we’ll have information highlighting sexual violence survivors and resources. Feel free to share the content on your own social media accounts too. Let’s show survivors at GT and everywhere that we believe and support you and that even during social distancing, you are not alone.

From our previous update:

For those of you who already submitted a story, thank you for your courage in sharing. We have read your powerful stories and are planning to hold them for next year’s Take Back the Night. If you want to talk to the committee about the cancellation of the event, please reach out to VOICE Advocate Amanda Planchard at amanda.planchard@health.gatech.edu.

Meanwhile, we would like to remind you that VOICE is here for you 24/7. Whether you are on or off campus, VOICE will continue providing confidential services to those impacted by sexual harassment, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and/or stalking. If you need immediate support call GTPD at 404-894-2500 and ask for the on-call VOICE Advocate. You do not need to make a police report and you only need to provide a phone number in order to reach an Advocate.
