Note for accomplices and allies:
As a non-Black person at this protest your job is to listen, amplify, and protect Black voices. Listen carefully to Black voices, they will tell you what you need to know. Do not ask Black People to educate you on white supremacy, do your own research. Amplify Black voices, do not speak over Black voices trying to be heard. Protect Black People. Be prepared to step in between a Black Person/ or a Person of Color and the police. Finally be aware of any feelings of fragility that arise, if you need to reflect on those feelings speak to another non-Black person.
In addition if Police show up we are not asking them to join the protest or take a knee.
What is accepted and what is not during this march:
This is a peaceful protest: No weapons, inappropriate/harmful language/signs will be tolerated. No violence, no destruction of property, no looting.
COVID-19 Alert: Please maintain safe physical distancing protocols from others and please wear a mask. If you are feeling under the weather, please do not attend for the health and well being for yourself and others.
