The police killings of black people are continuing to occur despite a global pandemic. Recently, the cops have murdered Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, Tony McDade in Tallahaesse, Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Regis Korchinski-Paquet in Toronto, and George Floyd In Minneapolis. Our comrades in Minneapolis are engaged in a righteous struggle against white supremacist state violence that serves as an example to us all.
Join us tomorrow for a solidarity action in support of Minneapolis and the various uprisings occurring across the country in response to police terrorism.
Due to safety concerns surrounding COVID19, we ask that those in attendance wear masks to protect themselves and others from the virus. We also suggest bringing gloves, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and other materials that can contribute to the safety of the event. We will also emphasize social distancing throughout the action.
We will meet on the steps of the Art Museum at 2pm. We hope to see you all there. ✊🏾✊🏾
