APALA Rally! API solidarity for worker justice

  • 3441

From teachers to food delivery workers, healthcare workers to office administrators, API workers face the same COVID-19 impact as other workers and are fighting for better when the shortcomings of this relief have costed the health of our loved ones, coworkers and communities. "If there is ever a moment to rethink our safety net, and how we are supporting" the people whose work is crucial to our communities, it's now.  (partly an Ai Jen quote)

Together Philly API stand in solidarity with workers across the state to make it clear that stronger workplace safety rights, immediate unemployment/ relief benefits and language justice are more than just what we need to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it's what we need to live on past recovery- these barriers have always been there.

Stand with us as we stay VISIBLE in front of Governor Wolf's office in Philadelphia 110 N. 8th st. We will be social distancing in solidarity.

There will be an option for virtual support for those of us in quarantine or unable.
