Thousands of Philadelphians took to the streets this summer to demand #BlackLivesMatter, and as part of the uprising residents turned demands on the city budget. This was an AMAZING surge of support across Philly to end racism in how our resources are allocated & to fund Black communities. Thank you for any role YOU played in this historic moment: whether you signed a petition to #DefundThePolice or participated in one of the many actions organized for affordable housing, libraries, sanitation workers, & more.
