Rally to Extend Unemployment Compensation!
President Trump's Executive Order has turned out to be a hoax and is unlikely to provide any replacement for the $600 Pandemic Unemployment Compensation.
He is only offering $300 per week in a program that will last only about 5 weeks. It will require a whole new program for the state to create to pay out the benefits and that could take many weeks to be implemented. He is now refusing to negotiate with the Democrats for a real replacement for the Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program which ended on July 25, 2020.
Families and the US economy need these payments to continue. Join us on August 20 to demand continued aid during this economic crisis in the country.
