Protestors' Rights and Networking Rally
Over the last several months, we've seen incredible activism efforts across the country, while also seeing local and federal governments ignore the rights of those engaged in peaceful protest. We invite you to join your fellow activists in a demonstration for protestors' rights and a chance to connect with one another. Speakers from various local activism groups and organizations will provide insight on the work they are doing and how YOU can help. Let's take this opportunity to come together and empower one another in our efforts towards true equality and human rights in our country.
Stay tuned as we make further announcements of what organizations will be present. We hope to show our county officials the importance of engaging with their constituents (that's all of us!) before we head into a contentious election season. Bring your signs, bring your masks, bring your water and, most importantly, bring your voice!
Across the country we've seen an incredible movement of activists fighting for the rights of all people, specifically relating to the Black Lives Matter movement and those who've lost their lives to police brutality. Let's not lose the momentum, as we now have the attention of those in power. We must continue returning power to the people through our collective voices and peaceful actions!
