Chicago Tenant Rights Under COVID

This training, co-sponsored by the Chicago DSA, Lawyers' Committee for Better Housing, Uptown People's Law Center, and Autonomous Tenants Union, is for renters who are trying to navigate the new laws affecting evictions in Chicago.

The training will explain the eviction process and changes to the process under COVID, provide a number of resources for legal aid, and also explain how renters can build power to negotiate with their landlord by organizing with their neighbors.
