Calling all union and community groups
NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION TO SAVE OUR POSTAL SERVICE
Join a CARavan to surround Detroit’s main post office on W Fort St
And motorcade to Gratiot Station at 3434 Chene
Why June 23rd?
June 23 is the day of an American Postal Workers Union-sponsored action in DC
June 23 is a week after the new Postmaster General takes office.
June 23 is two weeks before the Senate takes up the next stimulus package (with $25 Billion for the postal service in the proposal from the House)


Details of theme and slogans will be forth coming and we will share.

Tentative time is 2:30-3:30 at Fort St and motorcade to Gratiot Station on Chene Arriving about 4PM. Greeting carriers till 5PM.
