Justice for George Floyd! March Against Racist Police Brutality & Repression of Protest

  • 2251

The murder of George Floyd has ignited the country and huge numbers of people in towns and cities everywhere are rising up to say no more to racist police violence! Join us for a march from the Art Museum to City Hall to demand true justice for George Floyd and all victims of racist police and vigilante violence, including Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade and so many others. It is time to stand together, raise our voices, and show the power of the people to make real change!

We are sickened by the brutal repression of protesters that took place on June 1. Peaceful demonstrators were attacked without warning with tear gas and rubber bullets. After such a brazen violation of basic human rights, and Police Commissioner Outlaw's public statement in defense of these actions, there is no way that Outlaw can continue to serve in her role. In addition, the officers who personally committed well-documented acts of brutality on the highway must be held to legal account.

Join us to demand:
-- Police Commissioner Outlaw: Resign now!
-- Mayor Kenney & City Council: Defund and demilitarize the police!
-- Governor Wolf: Withdraw the National Guard now!
